Does anybody read this? I highly doubt it since I don't keep up on it like I should. I know I should provide data for the data miners but there are just too many other things that need attention.
For example; the gas line on my tractor is leaking. The gas line is about six feet long on this old Wheel Horse and they ran the line up and over in behind the instrument panel. This is where is was able to rest on something that eventually wore through and created the leak. I might as well buy about ten feet of the rubber tubing because the gas line on my stand-by electric generator also leaks but for different reasons, probably age.
So, that tractor is sitting there needing to be fixed. Come to think of it it needs new mower blades, too. Don't worry, there is more. I have some firewood in the garage that needs to be stacked before the wood guy comes back with the next load. Speaking of wood, sometimes soon I need to get this old woodstove out of the basement and have a new one delivered so I can get it ready for winter. The old stove is still usable but it's not the greatest and it will probably end up in the scrap heap.
The good news is that I finally had the septic tank pumped after living here for sixteen years. I've been wanting that done for the last few years but just couldn't force myself to go out there and find the damn thing. It was there, right where I though it would be in that spot that never has snow on it during the winter.
In political news... Alcona County had a huge voter turn out in the last primary. I'm glad that people are starting to pay attention to these things. Now, if we can just combat stupidity.
What else? I don't know... computer problems, plumbing leaks, drought, aging parent(s), delusional family members, dogs taking a crap indoors, lack of funds, rising expenses and too much time stuck here at the house. Other than that everything isn't too bad, I still manage to do the Tuesday radio show on WTF 879harrisville.com. That's a good thing.
